My childhood backyard was a patchwork of wildflowers and my dad’s failed vegetable experiments. He’d come home from work every evening with seeds in his pocket, convinced he could grow tomatoes bigger than his fist. Most of them ended up in the compost, but somehow, that stubborn optimism stuck with me. Now, I run Tree Shade Care to share the lessons I’ve learned from dirt, patience, and the occasional gardening disaster—because the best plants (and recipes) grow from mistakes.
